“sure!” he turns his attention to the coloring books on the coffee table. “which one can i do?”

he selects the image of a cozy little cabin, turning it around to show his cousin. “this one okay?”

the memory of him skating down the roof of the house to land on the trampoline flashes through his mind, prompting him to smirk slightly. “it’s not like i broke any bones. dad would’ve felt it too.”
