Codie Sanchez This is one of the most important truths almost no one talks about. There is a threshold of wealth beyond which you stop interacting with reality as it exists and begin interacting with a version of it that bends to your whims. Codie’s friend didn’t pick $299 million

I think we need to focus on educating people that EVs can be charged from home. A 72 kWh EV battery (400km range) only costs around N$ 250 extra on your home electric bill (city of Windhoek rates N$ 2 per kWh). Super chargers are not the issue.

Viiews  Wow. That’s not right. I netted R8k as a first year trainee in 2010, and it was enough back then. How is it reducing as the years pass? SAICA needs to regulate the minimum wage for training contracts

Consent without choice It starts quietly and it is now everywhere. You want to pay your water bill. You are asked for a phone number before the system will proceed. You need a tax service. The same demand appears. You go to the cinema and cannot collect a ticket or buy snacks

As a strictly city car, it’s almost impossible to beat. A fully charged one would probably last me 2-3 weeks commuting to work and back

Electric car batteries last longer than most cars in South Africa A new study of battery degradation on thousands of EVs found that the average passenger model lost just 1.5% of its capacity per year, which means it would still have 80% left after 13 years.
