This Reedmace, Typha latifolia, is still in depths of winter and will be until May, but still looks great. North Worcestershire yesterday. #wildflowerhour

Found by the side of a potato field this morning in South Staffs. A comment on its id would be appreciated. A beautiful looking flower. #wildflowerID #wildflowerhour

Now that's what I call an orchid (common spotted, I think) with spots. Must be a reason why it is so heavily spotted? Comments welcome. St. Kenelm, Clent Hills, Worcestershire. 19 June, 2020 #wildflowerhour BSBI: Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland

The Great White Egret was back at Chelmarsh today (like most species it's probably doing the Chelmarsh/Severn/Dudmaston Triangle commute) along with 2 Little Egrets. Also, another Little Egret on the Severn from the Bridgnorth bypass. 2 Green Sandpipers on the Scrape. Shropshire Ornithology

I am not 100% certain on the id of this Chiffchaff I photographed yesterday (23 November) at Morville, Bridgnorth, Shropshire. Could anyone of you tristis, fulvescens, abietinus aficionados please help. Or is it nominate collybita? Thank you. Steve
