Doing both under and post grad teaching is great… got chatting to a Leadership workshop participant who is just finishing GP training, who I clearly remember taking on their first ever day at medical school 10 years ago! So cool to get to see the whole journey! #Mustbegettingold

#thebodykeepsthescore I was inspired by this account of how he continues to work in harrowing trauma - rather than focusing on it he notices the unbelievable resolve and resilience of his clients and gains inspiration from them. It’s heartbreaking, but he sees the beauty there.

Not sure if I’m getting over into this now, but I love the different conference rooms out there. Sure we had to move the massive table out of the way 💪🏽 Johnny Parks, but this room in the middle of a ravine was special. #teamcoaching #royalbotanicgardens #location #TowardLtd

Sharing with others about how delivering health care affects us… felt like a landmark occasion for us at QUB Centre for Medical Education as the medical and nursing students were joined by midwifery students for today’s Schwartz round. All in it together. The Point of Care Foundation QUBNursing&Midwifery

My 2 year old son just walked up to me and said, “I’m proud of you for hoovering”. It’s exactly the sort of affirmation I thrive off.

Brilliant podcast again from ⁦Dr Rachel Morris 💙⁩ Always so good for Drs but really this 1 with ⁦Chris Turner⁩ is loaded with good stuff on upsetting behaviours in any work place. Still wrestling with the point made re who should do the confronting! podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/you…

Had my most global coaching day ever… 1st client on Friday morning was in New Zealand (Friday 10pm for him). 7 hours later for me the last client was in California where it was Friday 7.30am there. Weird, but certainly one of the things I love about the job. And thanks #MSTeams

Avoid too many ‘shoulds’ and ‘musts’ by noticing them and deciding if you want to replace them with ‘could’ and ‘might’. Eg ‘I should be be better organised’, becomes ‘I could be better organised’. ‘I must (might) be vindicated’. Different feel that. #thinkingtraps

Never ideal when the alarm clark starts with the number 4, but I made it in good spirits to the University of Manchester to meet some amazing medical leaders for speed coaching at the #FMLMconf24. Also looking forward to workshops from Cognitions and Ian Mitchell

This is disastrous, hideous news. NHS England are hacking back the mental health support for hospital staff. One doctor takes their life every three weeks. One nurse takes their life every single week. These numbers will now INCREASE. Victoria Atkins - please do the right thing.

Getting lost is fun, staying lost is not. Thankfully there was just a bit of the former and none of the latter when I visited another amazing unknown gem of a walking trail thanks to @walkni #drumkeeraghforest
