Firefighters across the UK observed a minutes silence at 11am in memory of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service Firefighter Daniel Jones, who tragically passed away last week whilst responding to an emergency incident. Our thoughts are with Daniel's family, friends & colleagues.

Today is a very sad day for all of us South Wales Fire and Rescue Service as we remember Firefighter Daniel Jones; a proud firefighter, colleague & friend Thanks to all my friends & colleagues from UK fire & rescue services who joined us this morning in our minutes silence

This morning at 11am we joined colleagues across the UK, and held a minutes silence at NIFRS Fire Stations to remember Firefighter Jones from South Wales Fire and Rescue Service. We offer our deepest sympathies to Daniel’s family, friends and colleagues at this time.
