It's a great career both indoors and out. Plenty of variety and the opportunity to go to some unusual locations where the general public don't see. There's more to #surveying and #mapping than Google Maps and aerial photo's from a drone!

#Halloween2018 Ordnance Survey I'd like to add in local favourites (National Trust) "The Devils Punchbowl" and "Gibbet Hill" Trying to think of a map based #Halloween pun but can only come up with "Cadastrophy"!!

My long suffering family are blasé about #benchmarks and #trigpillars & sites I've visited & #maps & other peoples survey nails & service trace markings & &..... A visit to a church is never complete without a search about 0.5m above the ground around the church walls and tower.
