Congratulations to PhD student Jerry Fan who (very independently) published the first review from our lab "Ion Channels in Cancer: Orchestrators of Electrical Signaling and Cellular Crosstalk". Great job, Jerry! link.springer.com/chapter/10.100…

The very talented Ali Momin, @BahrampourSh, Nick Min, Xin Chen have co-led this review in which we discussed brain mechanics and the roles of mechanosensitive ion channels in brain cancer. This area is so intriguing and there are so many discoveries remain to be made!

We are thrilled that our blood-tumor barrier (BTB) paper is featured on the cover of Neuron! In this paper shorturl.at/kwMW6, we show that tumor cells project cellular processes to ensheathe blood vessels to form the BTB in medulloblastoma.
