Robert has had a go at the colour wheel and ink experiments this afternoon. We al joined in and tested lots of different colours to see what would happen. We can see the primary colours seperated out in each test. Year6IJS

A lovely morning at Burns beach. It was so quiet, but a rough sea today.

This morning I was greeted with this smile and a tooth in his hand. Going to get expensive quick, as he got another 3 that are wobbly too 😬 going to look delightful when it's school photo time 🤣 he's now in bed waiting for the tooth fairy.

Busy morning exploring Swan Valley Railway Reserves Heritage Trail. Great views, explored the old railway tunnel, and even found some blast holes from when it was first constructed.

Then afternoon spent exploring a weir and dam. Wow was it hot today 🥵 at Mundaring weir and dam

This is how I spent an hour this morning, Easter hat parade ❤️. It was amazing, whole school from kindy (nursery) to year 6 made hats and took part in the parade. Lovely to see the school community enjoying it, followed by the chocolate raffle. Missed my UK mum friends though 😭

Rather hard hike this afternoon at Lesmurdie Falls, almost vertical climbs in places 😳🥵 then we took a wrong turn and ended up going almost right to the top. 🤦‍♀️😬🫣 Amazing views, but its hard climb. You could see for miles, sky scrapers are in the cbd, miles from where we were

On Friday we went to watch George's class assembly, which was both year 6 classes performing a dance number they had been practising. Then George was awarded a merit certificate, which he didn't know about in advance. Well done George and year 6. 🌟

We went and viewed 2 houses yesterday. From the photos I thought I had found the one that would be our family home. After the viewing its back to the drawing board 🤦‍♀️☹️, so we went to see the birds at the dam to cheer us up. Think it worked on the kids. 🙂🦜

Today we celebrated World book day. These were are costumes this year. Jack loved his, until he was sitting putside watching the other classes parade, then I don't think it was so comfortable lol.
