It’s an exciting day in 5th grade math. Students are working in groups to analyze an exemplar, determine the strategies and steps used to multiply decimals, and present their work to the class. Chase Smartt Valley View Elementary

During first grade workshop time at the View, Mrs. Blackwell asked, “What is a feather?” A student replied, “It’s what they wrote with in the 1980’s.” 😀 #thankfulforpencils Valley View Elementary

I was teaching a lesson on telling time to second graders today. I asked them, “Who decides what the time is right now?” A wise second grader replied, “God!” Such wisdom! For truly, whether it is 8:23 or 5:19, “my times are in His hands.” Psalm 31:15.
