There are still students on FSU’s campus hunkered in buildings, waiting for the all clear to leave. The few non-first responders I’ve seen around are absolutely shaken, even if they weren’t close to the shooting.

Florida State University Police Chief Jason Trumbower says two people were killed and five have been transported to the hospital in today's shooting. The shooter has been transported to the hospital. The shooter is believed to be an FSU student. The two dead are not students.

The alleged Florida State University shooter is 20-year-old student Phoenix Ikner, according to law enforcement. He's the son of a local sheriff's deputy and was part of the Leon County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) Youth Advisory Council.
