Here are some highlights from our first game of the season. Had 18 points in a win against South Lyon.

Big first win for the Spartans against an aggressive Farmington team! The guys played a gritty 2nd half. Mark Stein (Sr) led the Spartans a monster 32 points, and McGlinch (Sr) followed with 13. Toth (Sr) with a huge game in the paint that pushed us to the finish.

Averaging 26.5 ppg and 7 rebounds in my first two games of the season. Here are some of my highlights!

Stevenson win against Robichaud at the UPAD tip-off classic. Final score 82-60. Stein (Sr) finished with 22 and McGlinch (Sr) had 19. Huge game for our bigs, Toth (Sr) and Ericson (Sr), who controlled the boards inside for us. Ericson finished with a career high 14.

Here are my highlights from our win last night against Detroit Voyageur. I ended with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Brandon Folsom

Stevenson get the clean sweep with all 3 levels against Royal Oak. Varsity win 62-34 to bring our record to 3-1. A strong offensive second half from all! Stein (Sr) finished with 22 points, and McGlinch had 14! We are back in action on Tuesday traveling to South Lyon!

Another sweep for all 3 levels tonight against a gritty South Lyon program. Varsity won 74-53! Our seniors led us in scoring, Stein finishing with 24, McGlinch 14, Ericson 10, and Toth 9! We are back in action as we open up conference play on Thursday @ Fordson!

Dylan has had a huge start to the season for us! Team captain and awesome leader who is performing at a high level! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

Spartans lose in a battle against Wayne Memorial, final score 73-64. Dylan McGlinch led the Spartans in scoring with a career high 27, Mark Stein followed with 14, and freshman Tyler Hill had 9 off the bench. Guys battled today against a strong Wayne team.

Varisty got back to winning with a battle against a strong Woodhaven team. Final score was 63-50. Mark Stein finished the game with 21 and McGlinch had 14. John Toth was the difference maker - pulling in every rebound around him and controlling the paint at both ends!

Stevenson pull out the win against cross town rival Churchill. Final score 67-40. Leading scorers for the Spartans were Stein with 24 and McGlinch with 19. Waligora had some big finishes inside including a big dunk in transition. We play tomorrow at Little Caesars Arena vs. Dearborn!

Tomorrow is our first ever Teddy-Bear toss game and youth night! Bring a new stuffed animal (or purchase one at the game for $5) to throw on the court when Stevenson hits its first 3 pointer! All stuffed animals will go to Livonia Fire and Police community outreach programs.

Great evening out for our varsity team before districts! Thanks to former Spartan basketball player and current Oakland men’s basketball coach Bobby Naubert for having us and showing us around!

While it’s always tough losing, we were able to celebrate Mark Stein breaking the 1000 point milestone last night! He has been huge for us over the last 3 years, and we are proud of him for this achievement!

Celebrated Dylan McGlinch signing day yesterday to play for Heidelberg Basketball Extremely proud of Dylan and can’t wait to see what he does at the next level!
