So this is how we are spending our first day in NYC!

Our second night we had a much larger adventure. It took us 3 hours and 8 miles to find the Brooklyn Bridge. I probably should have mentioned how bridges terrify me. Good thing the view was perfect!

For our third and final evening...we decided to walk The High Line and walk up The Vessel. Spectacular views at the top!

Super proud of these ⁦San Jacinto Suns⁩! They came in early this morning to learn about the importance of phonics instruction and it’s impact on comprehension. While they gathered and grew their knowledge, their neighbor teacher greeted their students. It takes a village!

I don't know who came up with this idea of teaching two cohorts of kids (some in person, socially distanced, some online) simultaneously but it's wrong. It's two jobs. It's not good for kids, and it's not good for teachers.
