🗣️ Today was our annual ‘Transition Visit’ to St. Joan of Arc with some of our Grade Eight students from St. Bernard of Clairvaux. Students had the opportunity to tour the school, visit classrooms and meet staff. Thank you to Mr. Primier for always making us feel so welcomed.

🗣️ In 43 days, the The Olympic Games begin in Paris. Using our green screen and DoInk Tweets, students showcased their talents in their favourite event. These students are bringing home the GOLD for Canada! 🥇

🗣️ One of our favourite activities every June is hosting the monthly Virtues assembly. This morning, our class presented about Fairness. As we are taught in the Bible, fairness embodies both justice and tenderness towards everyone - especially the overlooked and underestimated.

🗣️ One of our favourite June traditions each year at school. Our annual trip to Dave & Buster's with our Grade Eight graduates. A day spent playing in the arcade, eating delicious food and quality time with friends.

🗣️ One of the best and most difficult parts of teaching SERC is having to say goodbye to students after years togethers. 'M' joined our program in Grade 5, 'E' in Grade 6 and 'J' in Grade 7. All three now leave as Graduates of St. Bernard of Clairvaux. #Classof2024 🎓

🗣️ Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) is hosting an online event for parents to learn about the Individual Education Plan (IEP) in Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. We invite our St. Bernard of Clairvaux families to register in advance using the link or QR Code on the flyer.

🗣️ I had the privilege to teach Julia in Grade 4, 5, 7 and 8. I can’t think of anymore more deserving of this recognition. She left a lasting impression on my classes and our school community.

🗣️ Early morning tryouts for the Intermediate Co-Ed Flag Football team. Thank you to everyone who attended tryouts over the last three weeks. The team list has been posted on the athletic board outside room 201. Practices start on Monday. Go Bears!

🗣️ Yesterday was the 30th day of school. As a result, Individual Education Plans (IEP) were shared electronically with parents. Please check the email address on file with the school including the ‘Junk’ folder. Please sign and return the ‘Consultation’ page by next Friday.

🗣️ When you’ve Flag Football practice the same day as ‘Comfy Cozy Day’ during Halloween spirit week at school. This skeleton was all over the field making plays! 🎃🏈

🗣️ A wonderful day for Volleyball at St. Bernard of Clairvaux. Today we hosted an Intermediate Girls Mississauga West POD Tournament. Five very talented schools played for the opportunity to advance to our Family Tournament. Congratulations to Our Lady of Mercy and St. Rose of Lima.

🗣️ Another successful POD Tournament for the Intermediate Girls Basketball team at St. Bernard of Clairvaux. Bears finished in first place with a 3-0 record and have advanced to the Mississauga West Family Tournament in two weeks!
