*The ship Simon was 'installed' in is about 300 meters long from head to tail, bigger than some houses! it's a luxury ship, top of the line*

*and well-suited to carrying passengers and luggage, or cargo. the upper deck has ten 'hotel rooms' with bathrooms, a dining hall with one*

*of the best food programmers, an AI named Robin with a personality of his own, and knowledge of almost every single recipe in all human*

*history. the food may be synthesized, but not even the pickiest eater could tell the difference and Robin is damn proud of himself.*

*guests don't even need to leave their rooms! Robin will materialize food for them, instant room service :)*

*each bathroom has a shower /and/ a hot tub (and a toilet, of course!) and there's even a small pool on the upper deck!*

*naturally, the rooms are climate controlled. Cricket and Simon's guests are riding in style and paying enormous prices, which /they/ love*

*the 'basement' is where the extra luggage and expensive cargo are stored... nothing that interesting*

*they have a good life and could practically buy their own moon by now...*

*Simon's living space, where he keeps his physical body, is comfortable but not very large. why should it be when he doesn't move around?*

*there's a cozy bed, another hot tub, a screen to access whatever entertainment he wants. games, movies, shows, or the Ansible Network*

*robot machines he uses to take care of himself and the horizontal tank he operates his ship in*

*the tank is where he spends most of the time, with the lid shut, plugged in. it's its own life support system*

*able to keep somebody who otherwise would need help, fed, clean, and healthy & letting him /really/ get around in his wonderful spaceship*

*besides, he was born less than normal and hardly anyone can stand to look at him...*
