i hope that as we all acknowledge this, we stay aware of the fact that palestinians do not need to uphold pristine moral good in order to deserve freedom, safety, and self-determination. they do not need to be perfect victims whose resilience and kindness we turn into a fantasy.

ohhh Boy NJ’s dad is. so incredibly infuriating. Suran slightly less so bc she’s clearly been misinformed, but still Oof. only deigning to help your child when they can “offer” a service in return is pretty terrible and then the implied reluctance to let NJ do college… WRATH
