Walking with November… it doesn’t arrive, it seeps from October. We walk. The trees lean in, to guide. Hazel brushes my wrist. Birch sighs. He walks beside me. The ash drops a leaf between us. A brush of lips, inevitable, between bark and sky. We are not alone. We walk on.

Walking with care, I enter the misty woods. The forest floor blooms into a secret fungi wonderland… clusters that open at my touch, glowing caps like fallen stars, whispers pulsing through hidden threads. Awe floods me. I am part of their communion. 🌿✨🍄

Lost in damp woods, the aroma of wet leaves pulls me back to childhood. Laughter, leaves and earth kicked up. I stop: lichen wraps velvet‑emerald-green around a sleeping tree. Mist beads on my skin. I thought I drank the moment, but maybe it drank me. 🌿
