If he needs to escape, he’s always welcome to join Stan. If Bev and Bill can hang out and do homework, so can they.

He’s glad he can help. And they don’t have to do homework. That was just the first thing he thought of.

Stan was pretty happy to be getting out of his house for a while, and he was even happier that Eddie K. had agreed to come with him. He stopped his bike a block away from Eddie’s house and sent him a quick text to let him know where he was. Then he settled in to wait.

Stan was NOT looking forward to the upcoming conversation with @ChucksAndVoices, but he knew it had to happen. And he’d promised Eddie he’d talk to Richie first. With that in mind, he took a deep breath and knocked on his front door.

He was most definitely laughing at him for running into the sign. He didn’t realize what had Richie so distracted, though.

The strange reaction slowed him down, and he raised an eyebrow in question. “You good?” He hesitated only a moment before throwing an arm over Richie’s shoulders, just in case.

“Glowing…?” His cheeks were a little pink, but he didn’t move away from his best friend. “If you say so. Thanks.”

“Hm…” He’d definitely smack his hand if he tried… but he’d expect nothing less from Richie. “Isn’t that what you say to pregnant women?”

He flicked him on the forehead, trying not to laugh. “Knock it off, you dork.”

“Since I’m not really either… no.” He shoved Richie’s shoulder gently, smiling slightly. Then he continued walking.
