standbyscotland Use both votes for parties who wish to remain part of the UK. Send a message - the people of Scotland want you to put the recovery first, now is not the time. Give a protest vote, get the message home to the SNP as the party does not appear to be listening.

standbyscotland - Dominance to Decline For years, the SNP dominated Scottish politics, but scandals, leadership failures, and mismanagement have shattered public trust. Scotland deserves better. #SNPFail #ScottishPolitics

Scotland is in trouble. We’re wasting time while our health service, education, and key services decline. Let’s fix what matters first—then debate independence. #Scotland #PrioritiesFirst

Like farmers, Britain’s fishermen feel ignored by Westminster—used as bargaining chips for closer EU ties. For many, fishing isn’t just a job—it’s a way of life, culture, and tradition. Revisiting the deal would be a betrayal.

Left: Conservative MP Harriet Cross asks if "Labour are going to betray our fishermen" in the upcoming EU-UK negotiations Right: British fisherman upset and angry that they voted Conservative and for Brexit: "I'm embarrassed I voted out, I wish I could turn back the clock"

Rachel Reeves faces a £5bn black hole after reversing welfare cuts. Cut the interest paid on bank reserves by just 10% - save £4bn/year. The British public bailed out the banks. Is it time for the banks to give back. #Budget2025 #Fairness #BankProfits

Save Billions. Cut Interest on Bank Reserves The UK pays circa £40bn a year to banks for holding reserves at the BoE. Cutting interest on just 10% of reserves = £4bn saved. 50% cut = £20bn saved. Reduce interest paid from 50% to 10% interest over 5 yrs, that’s £59bn almost the

standbyscotland - Does this government have a clue? Let us allow the Chinese government to build their new embassy right next to critical cables! Let us hand the Chagos Islands to Mauritius, an island with no historical claim. Starmer - Useless!!

standbyscotland - there are days I wish Trump ran the UK. We didn’t “lose” energy self-sufficiency by accident. It was policy. In 2005 the UK was a net energy exporter. Since then we’ve blocked domestic production, delayed nuclear, and replaced supply with imports. Useless.

standbyscotland UK climate policy = tens of billions. Scotland circa £1bn+ a year. Meanwhile we’ve gone from energy self-sufficient to import-dependent. Policy has costs. Dependence is one of them, and we’re far too dependent.

standbyscotland Scotland isn’t poor. It’s mismanaged. The same economic approach, year after year, delivering the same weak growth. We have reached the point where continuity is failure. #economy #Scotland
