Times are tough, we all know, but our corporate overlords at Tribune are now talking furloughs AND pay cuts. They've already skinned and bled us and now they want to beat the marrow from our bones.

The whole point of furloughs and pay cuts is to share the burden, not dump it disproportionately onto one or two departments. Unless, of course, your goal is to divide the newsroom against itself.
