Year 2 have been printing with natural materials today. They have made some wonderful creations.

As well as ‘Groovy Hair Day’, year 3 have been writing instructions on how to bath Sherlock! He is looking forward to following these instructions.

Year 3 are enjoying their first part of Egyptian day playing Egyptian snakes and ladders, completing a quiz and measuring items in the classroom to make Pyramids 🗺️

The second part of the Year 3 Egyptian day involves the mummification of a body ( don’t worry it’s only a mannequin) ☠️

Year 2 had a fantastic trip to Wisley today. They collected natural resources to create art in the style of Andy Goldsworthy as well as hunting for plants. They were fantastic ambassadors for the school. Thank you to everyone who came to help.

Congratulations 🥳 to our amazing District Sports Team, they only went and won it! 🥇We are so proud of you all showing determination and sportsmanship. Thank you to Mrs Heasman for your training and commitment. Stars ⭐️

Year 3 are currently deep in a game of Top Trumps. In their final English lessons of the year they have been creating and designing their own Egyptian God or Goddess using a Top Trump card template #letthegamesbegin

Year 3 have been busy creating an ‘all about me’ presentation for their new teacher using Google slides #computing

What a way to end the Early Years’ first whole year at St Martin’s. It has been incredible! 💦

Year 3 have visited Ancient Egypt this afternoon and went into ‘Tomb Holly’ to discover different artefacts. We ALL made it our safely ready for home-time! Phew.
