there's deep alpha in being able to correctly tune your skepticism in crypto--go too far in either direction and your odds of success plummet. a common failure mode for smart people is not being able to get this right and ending up blackpilled on the space.

It was a mistake for Ethereum to cave to Bitcoin maxis and act as if having Vitalik be a leader early on in this technology was a bad thing.
