Few men have had a greater impact on local churches than Robert Sargent. His material has been used to train multitudes for Christian service and ground believers in sound doctrine. It’s always a blessing to hear him preach.

Don't trust a man who will not submit himself to a local church - no matter how sound his theology appears to be! You can't love Christ genuinely and reject His bride.

Once again, the Lord blessed me this morning.

Last Sunday I celebrated 9 years as pastor of my church and Wednesday I celebrated 20 years of marriage with my amazing wife. She is a gift from God. The impact she has on our home and church is immeasurable.

We are getting ready to celebrate our 50th anniversary as a church. We took a whole church photo last Sunday. A few folks are missing but we got most of them. So thankful for what the Lord has done these last 9 years. Looking forward to many more. I sure love my church!

18 years ago today I laid eyes on the most beautiful baby I’d ever seen. I don’t have room to describe what kind of young lady she’s become. All I can say is that for her to be who she is at 18, I am one blessed daddy. I thank God for her.

My boy and I let the girls have the heated shooting house. Even made sure to have all the bases covered.

My life is now complete.

The church is local, not universal. Each local church is the body/bride of Christ. Any believer that’s not a member of a local church, or is a member of a non-scriptural church, isn’t in the body/bride. It’s not really that hard. They’re only in the family of God.

Brother Ross is an absolute gem. I’m very thankful he gets a platform to speak truth. A must listen.

I’ve been hunting like crazy this year trying to get my little buddy his first turkey. Praise the Lord it happened this morning.

Candidate school? Seriously? How about we just let each local church recognize/verify the calling, ordain, and then send out the missionary. You know, like they did in the Bible.
