2024, ready for the challenge

The people of Sudan deserve peace. Today marks one year of the conflict in #Sudan. We are thinking of the millions of Sudanese who have lost homes, livelihoods and loved ones. We urge combatants, politicians, and the international community to negotiate an end to the fighting.

The report “A Year of War in Sudan” provides valuable insights into the current situation in Sudan. Including the roots and the stakeholders of the conflict. Additionally, the report concludes with recommendations on how to move forward and bring Sudan back to Peace and Stability

A Carter Center team is leading a workshop in Nairobi this week to build the monitoring, documentation, & reporting skills of the Sudan Youth Citizen Observers Network. Participants are learning about humanitarian & human rights law and participating in team-building exercises.
