A small glimpse of the devastation from the massive storm that hit Iowa last Monday. We drove along highway 30 today between Cedar Rapids and Ames on our way to drop our daughter off at ISU.

Country life- no power, no water since the massive storm hit on Monday. Late night water run to fill buckets for our country neighborhood to flush toilets and to boil for washing dishes, cleaning...#Iowastrong!

Thank you linemen! They have come from all over the Midwest to restore power to our state. Today some.of our neighbors took them a hot lunch and cold drinks. They were very appreciative! They often dont have time for lunch at all. We appreciate everything you are doing!
