On June 13th KU Leuven Materials Department (MTM) hosted the “Creative #ResiduFlex and #PyroFlex Partners Meeting” EIT RawMaterials 🇪🇺. The meeting focused on present and future challenges of these Networks of Infrastructure.

Professor Yiannis Pontikes and the RECOVER project starring in the INNOVEIT Awards

The first upscale porous inorganic polymer prototypes from iron-rich slags are produced by our PhD candidate Roberto Murillo in the framework of the RECOVER project.

The first prototypes of small size moulds for compressive strength testing are being produced at our workshop. This will help our researchers to perform a fast screening of the properties of slags. Special thanks to Jorn, Roberto and Vincent!
