Up there with surreal career moments (and serious highlights) is the intro the panel chair gave me C.S. Lewis Initiative Conference: "It's not very often you can say this about anyone, but I can say that Dr Sarah Waters knows more about Lewis and Shakespeare than anyone in the world".
