Having students reflect on linguistic diversity in their L1 can help them understand and appreciate the linguistic diversity of their L2. #ACTFL20

One of the benefits of #ACTFL20 being virtual is that I got to spend the morning with my kids. Headed home from the park soon to catch up on what I’m gathering is another excellent keynote address!

“It’s so key to know who you are, authentically, using your difference as an advantage... It’s important that we take a look at ourselves in the mirror and that we find how our uniqueness can benefit the greater whole.” Nyle DiMarco #actfl20

More perks of a virtual #actf20 : ✅ Being able to immediately reflect alongside colleagues and presenters. ✅ Having access to the sessions afterwards (because there’s too much good info to capture it all the first time!)

Any spare time I thought I would have between now and December 31st is now accounted for: You can find me watching #ACTFL20 on-demand sessions for the next 6 weeks. 🤓💻👩🏻‍🏫

Thank you, ACTFL for a(nother) fantastic convention. Very impressed by the smooth and easy-to-navigate platform and schedule. Now I need 48 more hours in my weekend to watch, rewatch, and process. And a nap, I need a nap 😴 😆 #ACTFL20

One of the most mind-twisting activities of my morning has been trying to understand and submit attendance for all the #ACTFL20 days I was out last week. Between F2F, hybrid, quarantines, and reg absences—plus the sub not taking attendance one day—my brain is imploding.

Schoology is down, which is clearly a message from the universe that I’m supposed to relax and go to bed early tonight 😴 #SilverLining
