Weekend of 6th / 7th / 8th May 2022 We are extremely short staffed this weekend, so please be patient with us. Because of this the kitchen will only be open at lunchtime and will only be serving customers who have booked with us. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

1 of 3: The planned refurbishment of The Squirrel is still expected to start on the 8th June 2022, which will mean closure of the pub for approximately 5 weeks. The PubCo have appointed an operator with restaurant management experience to take over after the refurbishment.

2 of 3: It is therefore with huge disappointment that I have to announce that I will be leaving on the 8th June and the pub will be closing from the 5th June to give me time for a smooth handover.

3 of 3: We will therefore have a LEAVING PARTY on Saturday 4th June from 6pm until everything open has been drunk, with music from Mark Scobey from 8pm and hopefully a buffet if we have any food left by then! EVERYONE INVITED, PLEASE JOIN US ONE LAST TIME!
