Trash pickup day 430. This was a 200 minute pickup. #EarthCleanUp Filled another dumpster of trash left behind in the east fork of the San Gabriel River north of L.A. today. I would have spent longer there, but I was getting my vaccine this morning. Place is getting clean.

Trash pickup day 682. This was a 60 minute pickup. #EarthCleanUp Another trip to our waterfall, and ANOTHER two buckets. All of today's buckets consisted of trash that had been sitting in my park for no nore than 48 hours. Disappointed, but not surprised.

Climate activism isn't just about annihilating the fossil fuel industry. It is about showing others our place in this Universe. It is about proving to ourselves what we're capable of. It is about leaving a better world for the future so they can do the same. That's who we are.

So, if anybody gets injured during the category 4 hurricane landfall, they cannot go to the hospital since the hospitals are full of unvaccinated COVID patients. A reminder that not getting vaxxed doesn't just affect you.

A thought I had today...

Eaton Creek has got some gorgeous mountain creek water! Be careful attempting to reach the waterfall this weekend. Water levels are high and rocks are wet. Air rescues have already happened this year from people slipping and injuring themselves.

Trash pickup day 1,341. This was a 200 minute pickup. #EarthCleanUp My friends and I cleaned over 1,000 lbs out of an abandoned homeless encampment in the park today. Much of this trash was getting taken away by flash floods and brought to the creek.
