How can the boss of Ofsted be surprised that kids under 11 have smartphones? Quick google, chat to a teacher or even a kid might have clued them into the fact that lots of kids have smartphones by YR It's not a good thing but it's not new - why the surprise? #teaching #ofsted

If you're a bit more clued up than Ofsted, which is a low bar and you'd like to know more about child safety online, there's a great instagram page : the_socialjess who regularly posts advice for parents / carers. Definitely worth following for good advice 👍🏽

Good- this needs to happen 💪 If we want to retain good teachers,then hold inspections which support & collaborate with professionals. An Ofsted rating is worthless - it tells you nothing about your school.
