Let's be fair. Calling this a Moment of RPG Inspiration is underselling the case. This is your sword-and-sandal, over-the-top, blood-on-the-sands Conan-might-be-a-wuss story setup that harkens back to the most over-the-top of pulps. That is in no way, shape, or form a bad thing.
