Our peer to peer group played some video games this week and enjoyed some time together. Thank you Mrs. Elam and Mr. Musielewicz for your work to get this set up for our students.

Our 8th graders spent a few hours visiting the LISD Tech Center today. They learned a lot about the different opportunities they can pursue as juniors and seniors in high school, plus life beyond high school with career focus in mind!

The PBN Club tried their hand at making items from 3D pens. Creativity and patience were the name of the game today, as many tried this new skill for the first time. Thank you to the Lenawee County Education Foundation for funding the 3D pens.

Congrats to Mr. Hayden, Mrs. Hoff, and Mrs. Lilly on their great chilis today for our staff cook-off! Mrs. Hoff was our overall winner! Thank you to everyone who participated.

Mrs. Hughes' Accelerated Science class won over $1,250 in prizes this year at the STEM Fair! Their hard work paid off with some students taking home first place in their division! Here are some pictures of the students and their prizes. Great job 8th graders!

The Paint by Number Club had another amazing session of painting Thursday after school. What better way to spend some down time relaxing than painting with friends? Thank you to the Lenawee Community Foundation for sponsoring and funding PBN Club.

Mrs. Johnston’s 7th grade Science students were using a spinner to learn about the Earth’s rotation today.

Our peer to peer group had a special guest today who brought in some pizzas for them. The group played video games and hung out together for a bit. Thanks Stevie Elam for bringing the special treat!

8th grade science students extracted the DNA from a strawberry today in Mrs. Hughes class! They learned that almost all living organisms have DNA.

Today our Paint by Number Club visited Lynwood Manor and had a great time sharing their painting skills with friends!

Mrs. Frank and her 8th grade Advanced Holocaust Readings class visited the pop up in downtown Adrian. What a great opportunity and experience in our own community!

Mrs. Hughes' accelerated science class used VR headsets to enhance their learning about inheritance. Students are enjoying learning in a new way in science.

Our equations team had a great day at the ISD competition, bringing home a lot of awards. Go Maples!
