The Somali cabinet should first address its own members, particularly those ministers who are perpetuating divisive rhetoric. Also, it is crucial to ensure that government workers are not organizing clan elders to intimidate or threaten people, especially those from the SW of 🇸🇴.

In order for us to move forward after the civil war, we must courageously confront our past. We are hindered by our fear of acknowledging the clans and the atrocities committed in their name. Only by addressing these painful truths can we hope to heal/build a more united future.
