I want someone to tell me how these Tariffs will help me? I am 72, no longer work, live on SS and don’t pay Federal taxes, just home taxes. The only thing I see is cars will cost more and everything else too. How are the Tariffs helping the general public?

My neighbor yesterday told me she no longer has weekly gardeners. They worked for her for 12 years and the owner of the landscaping company dropped by and said he no longer has any workers. He doesn’t know if ICE got them or they self deported, but they just disappeared.

Senators, don't cut our health care to pay for tax breaks to billionaires. Don't do it. Don't cut Medicaid. You will lose your jobs, but more importantly Americans will die because of your vote.

It is obscene to give tax breaks to the top 1% by throwing more than 16 million people off health care, cutting nutrition for hungry kids and making it harder for working class young people to go to college. That is exactly what Trump's budget reconciliation bill does.
