I love attending the Enoch Cree Nation Pow Wow. It’s such a wonderful celebration of their rich culture. And it’s always an honour to chat with Chief Billy Morin. He’s an amazing young leader.

That was special! Amazing crowds, venue and artists at the 40th annual Edmonton Folk Festival. Brandi Carlyle capped off the evening with an electrifying performance and played until midnight.

It was so nice visiting the kids at Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation and chatting with the school principal Cheryl Makokis. She introduced me to each classroom and when I asked “Who would like to go riding in a new bike park?” every hand went up! Stay tuned. 🚴🏻‍♂️🚴‍♀️
