Ape Escape has such a peak PS1 era aesthetic

The similarities between Astro Bot and LittleBigPlanet start and stop with a cute mascot style character that can wear crossover costumes. Their core games could not be any more different than each other Astro Bot itself is way more an evolution of the Ape Escape games btw

Astro Bot definitely lives off from Ape Escape in many ways, even having a few devs develop it helps out too, I really wish people would stop downplaying Ape Escape's legacy when it did inspire quite a few games people don't seem to realize
