Freddie Dawkins Tricia D'Orsi Tricia - you’re not think. Viral load. It’s killing our frontline staff. 3rd young nurse now dead. Reports that only 48 nursing staff on duty last night in the hospital. Many off with symptoms. Many banned from wearing World Health Organization (WHO) recommended PPE on front line. Do the maths. Simon Dedman

#Southend Hospital staff are not receiving full #PPE in accordance with World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines when treating suspected #coronavirus cases. With a gagging order in place restricting them from speaking out publically, write to your local MP demanding something is done immediately.

Southend Eye World Health Organization (WHO) I think it is also important to remember that a failure to supply appropriate PPE is a contravention of the Health and Safety at Work Act, which is a criminal offence, punishable by an unlimited fine, and up to 6 months in prison.

.@SouthendBC along with councillors, team workers & volunteers have been decisively clear on decisions and measures to protect the public. I wonder why the same urgency & use of resources is not being applied to protect @SouthendNHS workers.

Matt Hancock the fact that there are hospitals out there still suffering from #PPEShortages after you knew this would happens back at the end of January is disgusting The fact that doctors and nurses are being "gagged" and unable to speak out is criminal #PPEshortage #Marr

Ian Gilbert, Leader @SouthendBC on PPE at Southend Hospital: "we know that this has been a problem. I received a letter from the secretary of state yesterday saying a large delivery had been made so we will be looking to the course of the day to see what that is" #coronavirus

Evidence that #Southend MP David Amess has breached his own government's guidelines. Pictured just days before infection rates took a sharp rise, leading to the announcement that #Southend will now enter #Tier3 #Covid19UK @SouthendBC Essex Police

Hi @SouthendBC - it's just been announced that entire borough of #Southend is moving into Tier 3 yet there's no public statement, official information or guidance from yourselves online or through your website. Please resolve. cc: Cllr Matt Dent

The parochial, short-sightedness of Ron Woodley is the real headline here. Opposition led by a man with a record of fraudulent public consultation & a threat to vandalise a sculpture which has been preceded by direct engagement with the local community. echo-news.co.uk/news/23197344.…

If cllrs believe they can retrospectively retract public spending, perhaps they should cast their attention back to the festering slime lagoon they approved for the seafront in 2014. Costing a meagre £2 million, the 'tourist' site is now as stagnant as views held by select cllrs.
