A huge well done to both of our hockey teams who won the Havant Hockey Club “Community Shields” yesterday evening. Well done, we are so proud 👏

Year 10's organised a Dodge ball event for the local primary schools. It was a huge success and all students thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

What an amazing start to the week we had with a visit from Sam Copeland and Jenny Pearson as they introduced their new book “The Underpants of Chaos.” The room was filled with laughter and the book has received an amazing response from the children.

Following the extreme weather warnings: Children do not have to wear their uniforms next week, if there is something cooler that they can wear to school. Please follow our usual advice about hats and sun cream. This includes Year 6 for their visit.

Our Year 6 residential update - All having lunch on ferry as they approach the island, having respectfully observed a 2 minute silence for the Queen as they arrived in Portsmouth.

Year 6 Residential Update - They have arrived! About to unload coach and find out where they are staying. Lots of excitement!

Year 6 residential update - Having a wonderful time! Everyone ate really well at dinner time and we were able to see the sunset from the top of Culver Down in the evening.

Year 6 residential update: Our first full day at Kingswood started with a hearty breakfast, room inspections and great activities, including bottle rockets, orienteering, problem solving and initiative tests. Now we’re off to do abseiling, bushcraft and aeroball.

Y6 residential update - The sun rises on Day 3 at Kingswood. It’s going to be another beautiful day! Year 6 will be challenging themselves on the zip wire and with abseiling,  fencing, archery and leap of faith.

Year 6 residential update - Today was all about getting up high! Even the adults all had a go at the Leap of Faith. A day of personal bests ended with a trip to the shop and a sweet-fuelled disco. We can’t believe it’s our last full day tomorrow!

Y6 - Today was another day of conquering heights with Jacob’s Ladder, our PRIDE values definitely came into play! We also did archery, fencing and enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the beach. This evening we enjoyed a mini Olympics; now our bags are packed and so many memories made.

Some early ☔️ but sure the ☀️ will be out all day 🤞 Back at southbournejuniors as part of their transition day. All of the children meeting their new teachers and playing golf. Last year it worked nicely so the teachers could see the new children in a different environment 👍

Lost Property - Junior School. All lost property will be displayed on the playground before and after school for collection. Unclaimed items will be donated to the PTA or charity at the end of the day. Thank you!

We look forward to welcoming our children back to school on Monday 4th September. We hope you have had a lovely summer break and are ready for the new school year of learning.

Y6 IOW -They started with a very blustery morning on the beach, exploring habitats and adaptation, as well as building sandcastles! The afternoon consisted of Aeroball, shelter building, fire lighting and archery. They are now heading off to sing songs around the campfire.
