Today was my last Full Council at SouthamptonCC. Thanks to all colleagues for their kind words. I was elected as a Councillor in 2011 to represent my community. Now I want to be our MP & work for a better & more hopeful future for Southampton Itchen with a The Labour Party government.

Hundreds turned out in Southampton tonight for the service at Holyrood, procession to Guildhall Square, and lighting of the commemorative D-Day beacon. What a moving and fitting ceremony to remember those who paid the ultimate price for freedom and democracy.

It’s been a busy and enjoyable week with hustings and radio interviews. This election is about a change of direction to stop Tory decline, and rebuilding public services and the British economy with a Labour government. #VoteLabour🌹🇬🇧

Real variety on the doors in Woolston tonight. Before we’d even started I got “hope you don’t win” shouted across the street 😄 (marked them as undecided🤷🏼‍♂️)! Got better with a family stopping as they drove past to say they’re all voting for me! 🙌🏼 Great chats with others🌹🗳️
