This is the kind of thing TeamYouTube is removing. Yet we can't get any sort of communication with YouTube. This is some people's jobs, their hobby, their passion. Can we get acknowledged by our efforts and at least know what even is going on? Please let this be reversible...

TeamYouTube A few days ago, YouTube disabled uploading of SRV3 subtitle files. This is not a glitch or user error - it has been confirmed by many different translators. Now, I've seen reports of *existing* SRV3 subtitles being removed from videos.

Actually, it turns out this is already happening. This video with 11M views lost its subtitles: youtube.com/watch?v=d3UTyw… I do hope you have backups.

In Towa's Palette, there's a part where the MV explodes into color, and the subtitles do as well. The subtitles for this song were just removed for the crime of not conforming to YouTube's arbitrarily changing standards. Many more songs may be affected if this is not reversed.
