My adulting gripe is random things costing ridiculous amounts of money. Why is an oven rack $100?!?

Me: no more shopping for the year Also me: but my niece needs this very cute dress!

I was talking to a colleague about a task (that's not my job) and said "I have the capacity to do it". Then paused , and was like "actually I don't." "I have the capability, but not the capacity". Learning the difference.

IDK what tik tok or tweet I saw but randomly somebody said put Vaseline on your face for cold weather running and it's been a life saver! Probably not great for my skin but neither is the cold weather.

Getting through the next two weeks by crying when I need to then keeping it pushing.

After many years of navigating birthday blues, I've decided I'm going all out this year. Celebrating all month.

Today's thoughts on (romantic) partnership: it's somebody to split the hard stuff with. Cuz what do you mean I have to shovel the driveway AND go pick up groceries today?!?! I'm even egalitarian enough that I'll do the driveway and let him do the groceries. Just no los dos.

An update to this. So I think they broke up cuz I hadn't seen the man around for a while. Buttttt homebody sure did pull up with his snowblower today and cleared the sidewalk for the whole block.

I put something back in the wrong place earlier last week and as I was doing it, I said "don't put it here, you won't remember it's here". Over a week later, and I still can't find it.
