Comparison is not the thief of joy. Envy is. Resenting others' success breeds misery and rivalry. Admiring their success brings motivation and learning. We all compare ourselves to others. A key to growth and happiness is focusing our comparisons on people who inspire us.

In school, time pressure on tests favors the fastest sprinters. But in life, success is a marathon. The students with the greatest potential aren’t always the ones who rapidly spit out the right answers. They’re often the ones who take the time to ask the right questions.

Long vacations rarely cure burnout. They usually bring temporary relief. The frequency of time off from work matters more than the duration. 2 separate week-long vacations are more restorative than a 2-week trip. Regular breaks are vital to well-being. tedtalks.social/WLAdam

Every transaction is paid for at least three times. First, with the money you pay. Second, with the time you spend. Third, with the reputation you create through your behavior. Being pleasant, reliable, and easy to work with might cost you a little more time. Perhaps even a bit

We contributed €100,000 to strengthen drought preparedness in Micronesia in October. With this funding, the Red Cross restored water supply systems and prepared alternative water sources together with the community, which helped them through the drought when it hit.

If you love a good (fiction) read, then I highly recommend "The Boy and the Dog." In my opinion, it's the Japanese version of "The Alchemist." Maktub!

We don't need to debate whether it's better to be a generalist or a specialist. The world needs both. Specialists excel at zooming in. They see the details to deepen our knowledge. Generalists excel at zooming out. They see around corners to broaden our view.
