I'd like to share some reflections on the death of a patient. I’ve thought about her a lot. She gave me explicit consent to tweet the details of her case, about four hours before she died. Her hope was that someone might benefit from her experience. /1

I‘m interested in *directly* & *consciously* contradicting twitter’s terms of service prohibiting disagreeing w/ health authorities & governmental authorities where they are lying or giving dangerous information. I claim masks work. World Health Organization (WHO) is not to be trusted on matters of fact.

I've been using Android for the last couple of weeks, and honestly, the core OS is pretty good! The big problem is that Android apps are garbage relative to iOS apps. If developers actually care about pushing back against Apple they should give a damn. They don't.

New Zealand it’s voting day and both of the leaders contesting for the role of prime minister are women. It’s easy to forget how amazing that is - don’t forget to #VoteNZ 🗳

If it is in the best interest for people to be better informed, why aren’t most academic papers free to access? And why don’t they include an explainers for non-academics/subject matter experts? This seems like an easy way to ensure people are better informed.

Guys. Nobody is trying to radicalize us. There is no conspiracy here. Everything can be explained by the following observation: 🔥Radicalization is the most profitable business model on earth, practiced by the most profitable companies on earth.🔥 Look no further.

So NSW responds to a shortage of fuel by making it cheaper but reducing the tax on it? The policy is idiotic. It's not often you look at Victoria and think "I wish we were as smart is them", but today? It's one of those days....

Please remember we can easily import enough fuel through several fragile logistical chains to use 140 mil litres a day, distributed across 8000 service stations but we cannot under any circumstances manage the electrical engineering and infrastructure to increase EV charging. 🤪

The scariest finding in this paper: the subjects couldn't tell it was happening. UPenn ran this study on 48 healthy adults. One group slept 8 hours. Another slept 6. Another slept 4. For 14 straight days. They tested cognitive performance every 2 hours from 7:30am to 11:30pm.
