Los días 5 y 6 de julio, con el apoyo de Dreikönigsaktion y HORIZONT3000, se llevó a cabo en #ElSalvador una jornada de capacitación con 10 organizaciones salvadoreñas para aprender técnicas de educación popular y posterior difusión de sus respectivas Políticas de Protección.

During my last visit to Nairobi I met with HAART-Kenya which is doing amazing work in raising awareness on human trafficking and assisting victims. So far over 1,000 survivors have been supported (incldg. legal aid) and 12,000 comm. members trained. @HORIZONT3000 @AustrianDev

We reflected on the impact of a project which we conducted with support from @Horizont3000 on strengthening the rights of market women & established avenues for future partnerships. It was great to hear stories of the positive impact of the project on women in the Kalerwe market.

Today, we made a courtesy visit to our partner HORIZONT3000 and had a meeting with the new Regional Director, Mr.Solomon Mbubi. #Happening_Today, AFIRD hosted a delegation of Organic Practitioners under the ACSA Uganda. The team included smallholder farmers, CSOs & students from Uganda Martyrs University(ACALISE). The objective of the visit was to facilitate knowledge transfer and dissemination among the membership.

It was such a cheerful week for us hosting Mr.Friedbert Ottacher our Program Coordinator for 🇺🇬🇪🇹🇸🇸 based in 🇦🇹. From visiting ADC in Uganda 🇦🇹🇺🇬, to program exchanges, meeting Digitalization project beneficiaries, offering Flip chat training, & joining our Team building activities.

Today we are glad to have hosted HORIZONT3000 East Africa Senior Management. We discussed our priorities for 2024 and collaborations on women and youth.

People have been asking, what I think about more femals graduating from Makerere University?. Simple, step in the right direction. That should be the ideal situation in all institutions at whatever level. Guys,females are over 51% of the Ugandan population. 🤷🏾‍♀️
