Good morning Citizens, and welcome to this new edition of the Elrond City News! 📰 A lot has been achieved this week! 👷

1️⃣ Engagement lottery We decided that for now, only the first tweet of a Thread will count for the Engagement Lottery (starting with this thread). That way, if you want to stay in the ticket race, you will not be forced to RT/like all the subsequent tweets 🔁

Since the first period of the Engagement Lottery ended, we want to hear from you guys. What did you like, dislike about the concept? And more importantly what do you think can be improved? 👷

2️⃣ Website Great progress has been made on frontend and backend concerning the website! First, we finished the Smart Contract for the sale of the 900 remaining buildings ⚙️

Second, most of the static items have been integrated. The new website already looks really good, but we want to take the time to work on the details. They will make the whole site coherent and pleasant to interact with 👆

3️⃣ Code quality As we wanted to have a more professional approach to the future development (website and everything): -we dockerized all of the microservices from the website (static site, My City game) 🐋 -we set up a CI/CD pipeline that will help producing quality code ♾️

4️⃣ Citizens Generator As we previously said, we want to release it as an Open Source tool. We also used Docker to make it portable, it is now independent from the OS we use. This way, we can both modify the code and generate Citizens on any device 💻

5️⃣ Citizens assets 4 new sets of assets have been finished this week. We’re at a total of 33/38 jobs, we’re really close from having all the assets 🏁

6️⃣Citizen Staging We spent a lot of time this week rigging and staging Citizens to produce dope visuals for promotion. Here’s a little sneak peek of the unfinished version of something really cool 👀
