King Charles the Martyr church in #TunbridgeWells. Opened in 1676 and probably the oldest surviving building in the town. I'm not given to think of Charles as a martyr – more of an over-mighty monarch.

A photo I took 10 years ago of the so-called Bridge of Sighs in Oxford. The bridge connects two parts of Hertford College across New College Lane. By Oxford standards it isn't that old: finished in 1914. I only recently noticed the ghostly shoes on the right-hand side. #ghosts

The Flan O'Briens pub in Bath. Supposedly named after Irish writer Flann O'Brien (real name Brian Ó Nualláin, 1911–66). "The Third Policeman" is still one of my favourite books. '"Is it about a bicycle?" he asked.' #thethirdpoliceman #flannobrien
