In June, Damien Ritter, age 28, was convicted of two counts of Murder in Lexington County for the tragic robbery and shooting deaths of Samir Atkins and Elzie Mack (victims are pictured below). Ritter received two sentences of Life imprisonment and is not eligible for parole. ⚖️

In July, Tirrell Means, 39, was convicted of Murder by an Edgefield County jury and sentenced to Life in prison. Means lured his wife, Yumonica Means (pictured below), to a secluded area and shot her with children present. Counteracting #DomesticViolence remains a priority.

In November, Shantrez Robertson, 26, and Donovan Brannon, 33, were each convicted of one count of Murder & one count of Attempted Murder for the shooting death of William Tyrone Gantt, and for injuring another victim. Robertson was sentenced to 32 years and Brannon to 34 years.

In December, Correy Brown pled guilty to Murder for his role in the shooting death of victim Brian Rogers at an apartment complex near Berryhill Road in the St. Andrews area. Brown was sentenced to 35 years without parole. This case was investigated by Lexington Sheriff ⚖️

In December, Barry Wayne Jones, 57, was sentenced to 35 years in prison following his conviction for Murder by an Edgefield County jury. Jones shot and killed Milledge Hall, age 63. Jones will not be eligible for parole and must serve the full sentence.

In July, Kimberly Groh, age 55, was convicted in the shooting death of her husband, Michael Bryan (pictured below) in Lexington County. Groh was sentenced to 30 years in prison without parole. This case was investigated by Lexington Police(SC) and SLED. ⚖️
