For clarity, there is another pending suit filed by another party in Delta State, in respect of which an interim/interlocutory order against NPF subsists, although this decision may have a high persuasive effect on deciding that suit. So, the 2nd hurdle has to be crossed.

Rationale was to focus grounds for EP on conduct of the election and its outcomes only, as canvassed by stakeholders, but I believe the provision can't narrow down the CFRN provisions on qualification of candidates to challenging such qualification at the Pre-Election stage only

Actually, the SC, in David Edevbie V. Sheriff Oborevwori, held that the cause of action crystalises from the date of publication by INEC and not the date he submitted his documents, unlike withdrawal of candidacy which takes effect from the date the candidate notifies the party.

Typical of the Panel. Members usually make up their minds before hearing, and on that date, counsel is subjected to probing questions, in turn. Same fate befell us then. You'd think it was a personal vendetta. Sad that the SC has been inconsistent lately on same issue.

It's now beyond any iota of doubt that the allegations that CAF wanted Morocco to win the AFCON at all cost was true. Shame on CAF Online, shame on Africa's football. Tueh

CAF should've declared the final inclusive and not allowed Senegal back on the pitch. It must have weighed it and had to allow the play conclude to avoid a shame of an inconclusive AFCON final. CAF must live with the consequence: Game concluded and Senegal won fair and square.EOD

This decision of CAF Online must have been an afterthought because the only applicable punishment here is fines against Senegal players and officials, which had since been handed down. The purported Articles 82 and 84 are no longer applicable herein. Poor CAF Online agenda

You hardly see Nigerians of all spectra unite, but your case has been a constant exception. It must be really bad for you. The snub must have really pained you to the marrows. Btw, stop farming, and be a proper politician.

The best of his generation in English football...the immutable and indomitable Egyptian King. Thanks for the memories and for dazzling us. It's never a goodbye to a Legend. You'll never walk alone

TENIOLA At least he learnt something new. As far you're alive learning will never stop, what will be concerning is if he still makes the same mistake again
