Recently, EFFECT, Contracts2.0 and CONSOLE Project organized a Dutch stakeholder workshop. We exchanged results & #futureperspectives with stakeholders from science, policy, and practice. An inspiring and insightful workshop that showed the complementarity of the projects!
Our first #SolvingFCB meeting is taking place at University of British Columbia this week. An interdisciplinary group of 30+ scientists from around the world is meeting to develop strategies, procedures and tools to address the interactions between FCB and other sustainability challenges.
Dr. Rashid Sumaila (Rashid Sumaila) moderates the Solving-FCB | @solvingfcb.org on BlueSky discussion, highlighting that the project is looking at issues from around the world (though unfortunately, the speakers from China were unable to attend).
The first Solving FCB workshop began with warm roundtable introductions that set the foundation for an excellent week of learning about project partners, colleagues, and ... an art piece! solvingfcb.org/solving-fcb-a-… article by Karly McMullen & Lauren Shea UBC Oceans (also found at ubcoceans.bsky.social) Fisheries Economics Research Unit (FERU)
