🐟🐟 Thrilled to share that I have been awarded a €2.5M Starting Grant from European Research Council (ERC) for my project Fish-S.H.I.E.L.D. 🎉 Hosted by Universitetet i Oslo, we will explore the immune surveillance system of the branchial cavity to protect fish against infectious diseases in aquaculture.

A new trial has found that a progesterone-based drug can support breast cancer treatment when used alongside standard therapy. This began with research at our Institute by Prof Jason Carroll and colleagues, and was taken into the clinic via the #PIONEER trial with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS.
